Mixable week 5: LK is back in the hospital

We got some sad news at the beginning of this week.
Lars Kristian, who works here with the DTS, has had a return of the leukemia he suffered from last year.
We were all very shocked

to hear this, as we were just forgetting the hard battle he and his family were fighting in the year that has gone.
Lars Kristian is in Bergen at the hospital now, where he is getting treatment.
Holding on to knowing that God is good, and that He loves him, has been at the foundation of what carried them through it, and up out of it. We are praying for him and his family.

January has been a been freezing minus twenty degrees until this week.
Tuesday was my first time this year for me

to bike down to the café. The whole ten kilometers.
So enjoyable to be out in the crisp winter air.

At the time of writing, my friend Lars Kristian is still in the hospital, where he is being treated for his Leukemia. We continue to pray for him and his family.

Here are a few photo´s of what the frosty winter-landscape looks like between Ottestad and Hamar.

This is a snow covered golf-course

It might look bleak and cold to you,
but I find it peaceful.
